The Service Advisor is a critical role at Cirrus Aircraft, serving as the primary interface between customers and the factory service center. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with customers to schedule maintenance, modifications, and service bulletin compliance for aircraft.
- Manage shop capacity to balance demand and maintain optimal efficiency.
- Develop and provide cost estimates, invoices, and collect payments for services rendered.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, parts costs, and other relevant data.
- Stay up-to-date on revisions to inspection requirements, parts prices, and other factors affecting pricing and customer downtime.
- Conduct thorough analyses of customer aircraft maintenance history and provide detailed schedule options.
- Prepare necessary documents and present them to service center management for customer debriefing.
- Coordinate special projects, such as modifications and engineering issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or Aviation Maintenance Technologies, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in aviation maintenance, or 8 years of experience in scheduling or aircraft maintenance with knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- 2 years of prior planning/scheduling experience in a variable demand fixed capacity environment.
- Project Management Professional certification.
- Airframe & Powerplant license.
