Dance Instructor

At the YMCA of Snohomish County, we're seeking a talented Dance Instructor to lead our group dance classes and provide exceptional service to our diverse participants.

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced dance instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group dance classes, providing quality customer service, and promoting our YMCA programs and events.

• Lead engaging and safe dance classes for participants of all ages and skill levels
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to our diverse membership base
• Stay up-to-date with the latest dance trends and provide effective information and support to participants
• Promote all YMCA programs and events, and maintain accurate class attendance records
• Follow YMCA policies, practices, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations

• Experience teaching dance classes to a variety of age groups and skill levels
• Experience working with individuals, families, and communities of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Certification or education in dance or a related field (if applicable)
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in a second language (desired)
