Job Description:

At NJ TRANSIT, we are seeking a highly skilled Energy Systems Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions for our transportation infrastructure
  • Lead the planning and development of advanced energy systems, including zero-emission technologies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize energy-related projects
  • Manage and administer capital projects related to energy infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, economics, or a related field
  • Master's degree in engineering, public policy, or planning preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in energy systems planning, transportation planning, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
