- Recognize and address the informational and emotional needs of patients and their families.

Qualifications- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical/surgical acute care registered nurse.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license from the relevant state(s) or a compact state license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
- Additional credentials may be necessary based on specialty and assignment requirements.
- Preferred: Certification in a nursing specialty and competencies relevant to the patient population served.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
