Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our Baby Care Site Engineering team as the Power Systems Technical Engineering Leader. This role is pivotal in optimizing offline systems and managing the Facilities and Utilities that support our world-class diaper manufacturing operations.

The Power Systems Technical Engineering Leader will oversee all power systems, which encompass the equipment and systems connecting the power provider to the in-plant processing units. This includes responsibilities for Power Quality, large motors, power factor compensation, and electrical safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and leadership for power systems at the Baby Care site.
  • Collaborate with Electrical System Owners (ESOs) to ensure efficient project involvement and address system issues promptly.
  • Drive the implementation of innovative methods and technologies in partnership with regional and global networks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Experienced in collaborating with ESOs to ensure timely project execution and effective problem resolution.
  • Capable of influencing key areas such as scope definition, supplier certification, site master planning, and electrical safety.

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering from an accredited institution or substantial experience (3+ years) in electrical power systems.
  • Proficient in applying engineering expertise across various projects to meet business needs.
  • Familiar with low and medium voltage systems, including substations and switchgear.
  • Knowledgeable about relevant codes and regulations in North America.
  • Comfortable using software for power system analysis and calculations.
  • Willing to relocate to the designated area.
