As a Roadway Planning Director at RS&H, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of roadway planning strategies in Oregon and Washington.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of engineers to develop and implement effective roadway planning strategies
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Mentoring junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborating with discipline leaders to build and maintain the transportation engineering practice in Portland and the PNW

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse and complex projects, including managed toll lanes, long-range corridor plans, and complex interchanges. We are committed to creating a more connected future where everyone can thrive.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Professional registration (PE) within the field of engineering with the ability to obtain an Oregon PE and/or Washington PE within 6 months
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and overall quality control and schedule management
