Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the upkeep and modification of International Armaments Cooperation (IAC) policies and procedures, including relevant Air Force and DoD directives.
- Support the evaluation, drafting, and coordination of proposed directives and regulations related to IAC, ensuring alignment with existing policies.
- Prepare documentation packages for stakeholder coordination regarding publication updates.
- Conduct research on best practices within the DoD IAC framework to inform policy enhancements.
- Facilitate and promote International Cooperative Research and Development (ICR&D) and Coalition Warfare Program (CWP) initiatives, advising senior leadership on these efforts.
- Organize prioritization boards for ICR&D and CWP, documenting outcomes and communicating results to stakeholders.
- Monitor the progress of International Agreements pertinent to ICR&D and CWP projects.
- Draft solicitations for ICR&D and CWP proposals from major commands.
- Collaborate with field activities to transform cooperative opportunities into actionable ICR&D or CWP projects.
- Assist in the organization and education of external parties regarding DAF IAC opportunities, including planning and executing various outreach events.
- Provide logistical support for formal IAC conferences, including material preparation, participant invitations, attendance tracking, and meeting minutes documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years in developing and coordinating IAC agreements, with a thorough understanding of the IAC development process and legal authorities.
- Proven experience in interpreting relevant laws and regulations necessary for the development and implementation of International Agreements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in International Affairs, Security Cooperation, or International Business.
