We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Job OverviewThis is a 13-week contract position with the opportunity to work as a traveling nurse. As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
Responsibilities- Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care to patients.
- Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
- Administer medication as prescribed by physicians.
- Meticulously document medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.
- Active RN License.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS Certifications.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
- Competitive salary: $1200 - $1600 per week (dependent on experience) + tax-free stipend.
