Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather patient information, including medical history, health concerns, and symptoms
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient conditions and deliver treatment
  • Administer medication and vaccinations, communicate treatment plans, and monitor medical equipment
  • Accurately record patient information into our electronic health record system
  • Conduct screenings, diagnostic treatments, and rehabilitative services as part of our team-based care model
  • Identify patient problems and assist in care planning as an integral part of the treatment team
  • Prepare and administer medications and immunizations under the guidance of a registered nurse or provider
  • Provide patient education on healthy living and manage patient flow in the clinic
  • Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards
  • Obtain specimens as directed by a provider
  • Perform follow-up calls to patients

Requirements:

  • Valid State of Wisconsin LPN license and/or Medical Assistant certificate
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid time management and organizational skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Competence in basic healthcare procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
