Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Mayo Clinic - 1216 Second Street S.W.

Certification Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligibility with certification obtained before employment start date.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT)
  • ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of employment start date
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality images for Radiology and the assigned areas within the Operating room that meet the Department of Radiology standards.
  • Requires competence in various equipment and technology.
  • Practice safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and oneself.
  • Foster teamwork through effective communication.
  • Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths.
  • Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • Experience within a sterile environment, aseptic technique, and scrub experience required.
  • Minimum of one year IR experience required.
  • Associates degree preferred.

Schedule Information: Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
