In this role, you will provide comprehensive support for Esri ArcGIS users, ensuring they receive the assistance they need through various channels including phone, online, or in-person visits. Your primary focus will be on diagnosing and resolving user issues, while collaborating with IT personnel to enhance user productivity with ArcGIS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for GIS technical support inquiries
  • Verify the functionality of virtual ArcGIS Desktop environments and enterprise GIS applications
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of user concerns; act as a liaison between users and technical teams
  • Escalate complex technical issues and work closely with IT staff to find solutions, consulting with Esri support when necessary
  • Guide users in effectively utilizing Esri ArcGIS solutions and related applications, enhancing their GIS capabilities
  • Support the team with GIS system upgrades, project initiatives, and provide on-call assistance as required
  • Create, revise, and maintain technical documentation related to systems and processes
  • Facilitate the development of GIS User Groups, resources, and assist in the creation of training materials
