Insight Global is seeking a skilled Network Operations Center Specialist to provide advanced technical support and maintain network products and services. This role involves performing diagnostics, creating maintenance requests, and coordinating with the NCC and TAC to ensure network health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve network issues
  • Create and manage maintenance requests to ensure network uptime
  • Coordinate with the NCC and TAC to resolve complex network issues
  • Provide technical guidance and support to staff
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
  • Run network scripts and perform data analysis to optimize network performance

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a NOC Technician
  • Experience with OTDR testing and DWDM/SONET configurations
  • Strong communication skills to communicate with technicians on fixes
  • Experience with Ciena 6500, Infinera, and Alcatel PSS-32/16

Working Conditions

This is a fully remote position that requires flexibility to support after-hours maintenance requests. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network operations and be able to work independently under minimal supervision.
