We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to fill a Direct Hire position at C&L Group. The role requires a willingness to travel 15-20% as necessary, with weekends spent at home.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and track supplier performance, collaboratively addressing any discrepancies or challenges. Review potential new suppliers against established quality criteria in partnership with the Purchasing department. Develop and uphold supplier quality standards that align with corporate goals and compliance requirements. Facilitate cross-departmental teams to resolve quality challenges utilizing techniques such as root cause analysis. Work closely with Engineering to ensure suppliers meet product specifications. Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests to tackle ongoing quality concerns. Lead the Production Part Approval Process with key clients to fulfill their requirements. Promote continuous improvement efforts within the supplier network. Create and implement training programs for suppliers on quality standards and procedures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Prior experience as a Quality Engineer is essential Experience in a Manufacturing Environment is necessary Familiarity with Quality Control Systems Knowledge of ISO 9001 & AS9100, Lean Methodologies & Root Cause Analysis Experience in Project Coordination Background in Electromechanical Systems Experience level: Mid-senior
