El Especialista en Aplicación de Normas de Estacionamiento será responsable de hacer cumplir las regulaciones de estacionamiento de la Ciudad de Omaha (principalmente en el centro) de acuerdo con las leyes y ordenanzas de la ciudad. Además, asistirá a los ciudadanos con transacciones de entrada/salida, proporcionando direcciones o arranques de vehículos como cortesía, y mantendrá el equipo de estacionamiento en condiciones operativas. El Especialista trabaja en estrecha colaboración con otros miembros del equipo y el Gerente de Estacionamiento en la Calle para garantizar que se cumplan los estándares de seguridad en todo momento.

Responsabilidades Clave
  • Patrullar una ruta asignada a pie (caminando de 3 a 5 millas diarias) para asegurar el cumplimiento público de las ordenanzas y leyes de estacionamiento existentes.
  • Actuar como Embajador proporcionando información al público sobre las regulaciones de estacionamiento, ubicación de calles, edificios y puntos de interés.
  • Utilizar LPR (reconocimiento de matrícula) para asegurar que no se excedan los límites de tiempo de estacionamiento.
  • Responder a llamadas sobre violaciones de estacionamiento y quejas.
  • Identificar vehículos en violación de los códigos de estacionamiento, verificando con el despacho cuando sea necesario para confirmar identidades o determinar si los vehículos necesitan ser inmovilizados/booteados o remolcados.
  • Emitir advertencias y citaciones para vehículos estacionados ilegalmente.
  • Observar y reportar condiciones peligrosas como señales de tráfico faltantes, áreas de construcción desconocidas y marcas viales que puedan estar desvanecidas o incorrectas.
  • Capacidad para procesar, inmovilizar/boote y remolcar vehículos según sea necesario.
  • Utilizar un teléfono inteligente para emitir citaciones y buscar información.
  • Capaz de trabajar en condiciones extremas de frío, calor y viento fuerte durante períodos prolongados.

  • Fiabilidad - Debe estar listo para trabajar a la hora de inicio.
  • Comunicación - Debe tener habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita sólidas.
  • Debe tener una licencia de conducir válida y un historial de conducción limpio.
  • Aprobar una verificación de antecedentes y prueba de drogas.
