Full-time Hospitalist Opportunity in New York

About the Job
We are currently seeking board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine physicians to provide long-term locum coverage at a hospital near Albany, NY. As a member of our team, you will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Highlights:
- Competitive 1099 rate (more information provided upon request)
- Paid travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- Staffing model: 12 hours, 4 MDs (7a-7p), 1 MD (7p-7a), 3 day rounders, 1 day admitter and 1 night admitter
Work Environment:
The hospital is equipped with an open ICU (8 beds) where you will co-manage patients with the Pulmonary Care group. You will also have access to a central line cart and ultrasound for procedures such as intubations and central lines.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality patient care, including admissions and managing patient encounters (17 per day)
- Performing procedures such as intubations, central lines, and basic vent management
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current active NY medical license
- Board certification in internal medicine
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary range for this position to be approximately $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
