Responsibilities:
- Perform routine medical procedures, including vaccinations, dental care, and surgical treatments
- Provide top-notch patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Work closely with our veterinarian team to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
- Assist with laboratory procedures, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest medical techniques and best practices
Requirements:
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods of time
