Prepared Foods Dishwasher

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Prepared Foods Dishwasher to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dishroom area.

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares to ensure a clean and safe environment for our customers and team members.
• Maintain the cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area, adhering to our high standards of sanitation and safety.
• Assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products to ensure efficient and effective inventory management.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and modeling suggestive selling techniques to drive sales and revenue growth.
• Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product to meet customer demands and drive business results.
• Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing, and immediately reporting any safety hazards or violations.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds to perform tasks and duties.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching to perform tasks and duties.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions, and use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• May require use of ladders to perform tasks and duties.
