Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our team at the Golden Eagle Casino. As a Dentist, you will play a vital role in improving the overall health of our community by providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for examining teeth, gums, and related tissues, diagnosing diseases, injuries, and malformations, and formulating plans of treatment. You will also be expected to administer anesthetics, extract teeth when necessary, restore and replace damaged teeth, design and fit prosthodontic appliances, and provide instruction and advice on oral health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine teeth, gums, and related tissues using dental instruments, x-rays, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Diagnose diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
  • Formulate plans of treatment for patient's dental health.
  • Administer anesthetics to limit pain experienced by patients during procedures.
  • Extract teeth when necessary, using the most appropriate anesthetic technique.
  • Restore and replace teeth damaged by decay, trauma, or disease.
  • Design, make, and fit prosthodontic appliances.
  • Treat exposure of pulp by pulp capping, removal of pulp from pulp chamber, or root canal, using dental instruments and fill pulp chamber and canal with endodontic materials.
  • Promote and provide professional dental supervision to assigned dental staff.
Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Minimum Requirements
  • A Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.S.) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.) degree.
  • Two to three years of related experience.
  • A valid Kansas driver's license and must be insurable with the Nation's insurance.
  • An active State of Kansas Dental License in good standing.
  • An active DEA License.
  • CPR Certification.
  • 60 hours of continuing education courses within the previous two-year period.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology to record and report medical information and health insurance billing terms.
  • Knowledge of regulations on confidentiality and patient eligibility.
Preferred Requirements
  • Four to six years of related experience.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
