As a Transportation Security Officer, you will collaborate with a team of dedicated security professionals at the airport. Your role will involve utilizing your exceptional customer service and analytical skills to safeguard passengers by detecting and preventing prohibited items from being brought onto aircraft.

Key Duties Include:

  • Conducting thorough screening of passengers and baggage.
  • Utilizing advanced screening technologies.
  • Engaging with travelers to provide assistance and information.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
  • Strong customer service aptitude.
  • Successful completion of a computerized assessment (grammar and X-ray interpretation).
  • Passing a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility).
  • Clearing a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Passing a TSA background and financial records investigation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and various shifts.
  • Minimum Clearance to Start: Public Trust.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive compensation package starting at $19.00 per hour.

Training and Development

No prior experience is necessary. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, and if applicable, travel accommodations for a two-week training program to become a certified officer.
