Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nursery Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying clients' needs, educating them on our unique offerings, and processing sales transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' needs and identify best-suited plants
  • Process retail and wholesale sales using Quickbooks
  • Fulfill retail and wholesale orders from our own stock and assist with procurement as needed
  • Assist with plant signage and inventory
  • Support other nursery duties as needed, including counting, tagging, pruning, and moving plants

Requirements:

  • Plant identification knowledge and an in-depth understanding of native plants
  • Previous nursery experience (1+ year degree in Horticulture may substitute)
  • Computer experience/proficiency
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
