We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department at Sierra Medical Center. As a Part-Time Emergency Department RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.
About the RoleThis is a part-time position working 24 hours per week with a flexible schedule. You will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, evaluating outcomes, and adjusting nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with other specialists as required.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassessments as per policy.
- Adequately assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques and educating patients and families accordingly.
- Use triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients, accurately assigning triage categories.
- Current RN Registered Nurse Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Current TNCC and ENPC certification, preferred
- Competitive salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
