Job Summary

MaineGeneral Health is a comprehensive non-profit healthcare system dedicated to enhancing the health of our patients, families, and communities. We are seeking an exceptional OB/GYN Registered Nurse to join our team.

The Role

The OB/GYN Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care and administrative assistance in a physician practice/medical office setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
  • Monitoring and recording patient condition, communicating with healthcare teams as needed
  • Evaluating patient learning needs and providing education to promote health and wellness
  • Performing administrative duties to coordinate patient care, including data collection, scheduling, and billing
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain same in a timely fashion
  • At least 1 year of RN experience, with previous OB/GYN experience preferred
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proven critical thinking skills
