Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing for and assisting physicians in testing and/or treating patients in the Electrophysiology Lab procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for and assist physicians in testing and/or treating patients in the Electrophysiology Lab procedures.
  • Maintain sterile technique and perform as a monitor tech and scrub tech.
  • Evaluate patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Electrophysiology laboratory procedures.
  • Administer drugs commonly used in the EP lab as directed by a qualified physician.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment used for procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology or equivalent educ/experience.
  • Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire.
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of formal training from an AMA-approved Cardiovascular Technology Program.
  • 2 years of prior experience in a cardiovascular laboratory.
