Position Summary

RMC is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Officer (CSO) to support our clients in the defense sector.

The selected candidate will engage in a range of Information Assurance tasks, which include but are not limited to:

  • Processing System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR) for new and existing accounts.
  • Generating SIPRNet tokens.
  • Reactivating dormant accounts and maintaining the NMCI Account Dormancy List.
  • Managing NIPRNet and SIPRNet account tickets.
  • Handling Classified token ticket processing.
  • Assisting clients with necessary documentation for account creation and modifications.
  • Supporting the certification revocation process.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess familiarity with:

  • Project management principles.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Team collaboration and cooperation.
  • Working within classified systems (e.g., SIPRNet) in secure environments.

Educational Requirements

An AA/AS degree along with up to three (3) years of relevant experience is required. Alternatively, a High School diploma/GED combined with two (2) years of additional experience in related work may substitute for an Associate's Degree. An Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.

The selected candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a defense environment.

Additionally, the candidate must meet the certification and clearance requirements as established by the DoD Manual 8570. One of the following certifications is required to start:

  • Security+ CE
  • CAP / CGRC
  • GSLC
  • CND Cloud+

An active DoD Top Secret clearance is mandatory to commence employment. The candidate may undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
