Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, process prescriptions, and interact with customers to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Process prescriptions by verifying medicine, checking for possible interactions, and ensuring accurate dispensing.
  • Interact with customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide excellent service.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure the Pharmacy Department is clean, neat, and orderly.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
  • Prefer good computer skills for efficient processing.
