As a Senior Systems Architect at Leidos, you will lead the development of comprehensive defense systems. Your expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques will drive the creation of detailed digital models and system requirements. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to design, integrate, and test advanced directed energy (DE) systems for the U.S. Air Force and other esteemed customers.

About the Role

  • You will utilize MBSE tools like SysML to create system models and diagrams, assessing alternative designs to meet program objectives.
  • Your responsibilities will include leading the creation of system requirements and technical artifacts, collaborating with diverse teams on design, integration, and testing.
  • You will contribute to program design and readiness reviews while documenting and troubleshooting engineering systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or a related technical field with relevant experience, or a Master's in Systems Engineering with less experience.
  • Experience using SysML tools like Cameo to create comprehensive system models and diagrams.
  • A strong analytical mindset, particularly in design of experiments methodologies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold all applicable laws and regulations.

Compensation

We offer an estimated salary range of $104,650.00 - $189,175.00 based on your qualifications and experience. Our team is located in Albuquerque, NM.
