Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CT Scanner Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography and experience working with CT scanners. They will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Selecting proper technical factors for studies and performing diagnostic CT examinations accurately
  • Operating CT scanners, pressure injectors, resuscitation equipment, laser filmers, and teleradiology systems
  • Assisting with contrast media administration and related procedures
  • Preparing patients for exams, ensuring modesty, and utilizing auxiliary equipment as needed
  • Documenting clinical information, obtaining informed consent, and completing required fields within the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Producing high-quality CT images and submitting them for interpretation
  • Staying up-to-date with software protocols, attending courses or seminars as necessary, and maintaining proficiency in executing new technologies
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients, colleagues, and radiologists to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
  • State registration as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
