Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our innovative Global Industrial Development team. This role is pivotal in advancing our state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facilities, contributing significantly to our mission of fostering a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Design: Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to envision, design, and develop advanced mechanical systems tailored for our cutting-edge battery manufacturing operations. Your innovative mindset will be essential in enhancing system performance and sustainability.
- Technical Proficiency: Leverage your extensive experience in mechanical systems design to produce detailed and precise system specifications. Your expertise will facilitate seamless project execution and collaboration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards, including ASME, NFPA, and ASHRAE, to guarantee the safety and reliability of our facilities.
- Sustainable Practices: Integrate eco-friendly design principles and energy-efficient methodologies into your projects, playing a vital role in minimizing the environmental footprint of our operations.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including electrical and process engineers, to deliver high-quality mechanical systems. Your strong communication skills will enhance team dynamics and project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Over 8 years of experience in designing mechanical systems for industrial facilities.
- Proven track record in large-scale manufacturing environments, particularly with complex process infrastructures.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC and process distribution systems.
- Familiarity with applicable design standards and regulations.
- Experience with system modeling and CFD analysis is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.
