We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Experience Designer & Accessibility Specialist to join our team at Capgemini. As a key member of our design community, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our digital products are accessible, usable, and enjoyable for all users.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement accessibility strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop accessible digital products that meet the needs of diverse users.
- Conduct accessibility audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain accessibility guidelines and standards for our design team.
- Provide training and support to designers and developers on accessibility best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in accessibility and apply this knowledge to our design work.
- 8+ years of experience in experience design, interaction design, and accessibility.
- 4+ years of experience in creating and executing Learning & Development material and strategies and/or Instructional Design.
- Ability to work onsite at our headquarters in Chicago three days per week.
- Familiarity with articulating and incorporating accessibility standards and guidelines into design documents and specifications.
- Familiarity with assistive technology.
- Exemplary core design skills, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent work.
- A love of learning new things and growing your skills by diving in head-first to the task at hand.
- Excellent presentation skills, with a strong ability to clearly explain your work to others.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
- A deep knowledge of and expertise using design and prototyping tools (such as Figma) and design language systems.
- Affinity for Capgemini's values, and a passion for creating products that meet people's functional and emotional needs.
- Experience working in an agile product delivery environment.
- Business-level ability to conduct business in English.
- Pent-up enthusiasm for design and emerging trends.
