Cognos TM1 Developer

HEICO Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our team in Hollywood, FL. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and management of our financial application system, specifically IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics).

• Project Planning and Development:
  • Take charge of development, including coding and testing of TM1 applications.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the system meets business requirements.
• System Management:
  • Manage TM1 applications with other developers on an ongoing basis.
  • Continuously improve finance processes using TM1.
• Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in the development and administration of accounting and financial reporting systems that comply with accepted principles.
  • Ensure timely preparation, interpretation, and analysis of financial data.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position.
  • Assist in the preparation and direction of budgets.
• Special Projects:
  • Support the Group Controller with special projects as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least seven years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of development experience with IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics) enterprise planning software.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to interact and communicate professionally and assertively with team members at all levels.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced proficiency with IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics).

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, except when on the manufacturing floor, where it is medium to high.
