Outpatient Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant
Schedule:
Monday to Friday; 9 AM - 5 PM
Position Overview:
This role is situated in an outpatient environment, focusing on comprehensive family medicine. The practitioner will handle a variety of common health issues including coughs, colds, flu, strep throat, and provide preventative care and physical examinations. Management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension will also be part of the responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses
- Provide health education and preventative care
- Manage chronic disease conditions
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification
- DEA registration
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
Patient Volume:
Expected to see approximately 2-3 patients per hour
Patient Demographics:
Primarily adult patients, with some pediatric cases
Electronic Medical Records:
Experience with eCW is preferred
