Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal patient access as the initial phase of the revenue cycle for BMG clinics and BMG Foundations. The focus is on all facets of registration, aiming to minimize inaccuracies, establish uniform procedures, and enhance productivity at the front desk.

The incumbent will engage directly with BMG clinic personnel, BMG Foundation staff, and CBO team members, alongside the BMG management and Epic BOC teams, fostering collaboration across various organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive Baptist OneCare training for new hires in BMG registration and scheduling.
- Maintain a strong technical understanding to perform Baptist OneCare system testing and analysis, offering insights for enhancements in appointment scheduling, registration, and front desk operations.
- Provide mentorship and development for Baptist OneCare and Baptist Medical Group personnel, focusing on best practices in appointment scheduling, registration, and front desk workflows.
- Facilitate and coordinate registration assistance for clinical staff and management.
- Achieve assigned objectives effectively.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent in a healthcare or business-related discipline, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Experience:
- Minimum: Three years of experience in a physician practice setting, with a thorough understanding of governmental and commercial payers, as well as revenue cycle and practice management systems. A minimum of two years in a training capacity is also required.

Special Skills:
- Minimum: Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet applications, internet navigation, order processing, practice management, scheduling, patient registration, and charge entry systems. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with providers and staff to foster a team-oriented environment. A proven history of delivering presentations and training to staff and providers.

Training:
- Preferred: N/A
- Minimum: Proficiency in EPIC practice management is essential.
