Job Summary

The Electrophysiology Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in the cath lab. This includes preparing patients for procedures, operating medical equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment, including electrocardiogram machines and fluoroscopy units
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and nurses, to ensure effective patient care
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to healthcare teams
  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient information
  • Transport patients as needed and maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist
  • Certifications in electrocardiography and cardiac catheterization
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to lift and move patients and equipment
