About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team at the University of Texas at Austin. This position will be part of a new research program assessing Texas water resources and systems. The selected candidate will assist with conducting a research program intended to assemble and synthesize a full suite of Texas water resource/system data.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Develop and implement research projects related to hydrology and hydrogeology.
  • Conduct literature reviews, analyze data, and develop research papers for publication.
  • Present research findings at conferences and seminars.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ph.D. in Earth Science (e.g. Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Geology, Geography), Civil Engineering, or closely related field. Demonstrated experience and aptitude in a hydro/geology context with: data analytics, wrangling, management, and synthesis, numerical and analytical modeling environments (e.g. Python), geoprocessing and GIS analytics.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and superb written and oral communication skills.


Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $65,000+ depending on qualifications.
