About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our Customer Success team at Symbotic. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a vital role in improving and supporting the performance of our automated systems.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with our technology by analyzing system performance, troubleshooting issues, and working alongside experienced team members across different departments to help drive solutions. You will be responsible for preparing and optimizing new Symbotic systems for our customers, collaborating on cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving our systems and solving ongoing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large data sets to find ways to improve system performance at specific sites and across our network.
  • Work with team members from engineering, operations, and technology to create and implement plans for better system performance in areas such as automated inbound, automated outbound, lift systems, and more.
  • Learn how to build and track KPIs and metrics, using data insights to enhance people, processes, and systems.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving our systems and solving ongoing challenges.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, especially in handling and interpreting large data sets with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Great communication and listening skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Teamwork-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Solution-focused mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective, data-driven solutions.

Benefits:

  • The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Approximately 25% of the time will be spent on a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection).
  • There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure.

Compensation: This internship offers a competitive hourly rate. With approximately 40 hours worked per week, you can expect a salary of around $15-$20 per hour based on your location. Please note that this is an estimate and actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as location and level of experience.
