Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Peco Foods, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL Commercial Drivers License with proper endorsements and commercial insurability, as well as excellent driving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
• Maintain accurate truck logs, adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with supervisors to receive delivery instructions.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the compartment.
• Conduct regular inspections of truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle, including daily pre and post-trip inspections.
• Assist with operational duties at the hatchery, ensuring an efficient production schedule.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained truck, promoting a positive image of Peco Foods, Inc.
• Meet all regulatory requirements, including a valid DOT physical.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL Commercial Drivers License with proper endorsements and commercial insurability.
