Job Overview

Market of Choice is a leading local retailer seeking a skilled Meat & Seafood Clerk to join our team.

As a Meat & Seafood Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a high level of product quality and presentation in our Meat & Seafood department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide recommendations on meat and seafood products.
  • Product Preparation: Accurately cut, slice, weigh, price, and wrap meat, seafood, and poultry to customer specifications.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company sanitation standards and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating meat and seafood products to ensure optimal freshness and availability.
Requirements
  • Experience: Preference given to applicants with meat wrapping and/or seafood experience.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
