Exciting Hospitalist Role - Great Falls, MT

Permanent Placement Resources, LLC presents a remarkable opportunity for a Hospitalist to join a prominent healthcare system at a large tertiary, level II trauma center in Great Falls, Montana. Swing Shift Specifics
  • Dedicated swing shift from 11 am to 11 pm, following a 7 on, 7 off schedule
  • Average of 8 patient admissions daily
  • Access to backup support from day rounders for manageable admissions
  • Assigned office space in the clinical decision unit adjacent to the emergency department
  • Additional after-hours resources include: 2 nocturnists on duty from 7 pm to 7 am, 2 board-certified emergency medicine physicians, and 24/7 in-house intensivist coverage
General Position Overview
  • Day rounds maintain a reasonable patient load, targeting a maximum of 15 patients for optimal medical practice and collaboration
  • 12-hour shifts with a 7 on / 7 off block schedule, working alongside a team of 8 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 swing/admitter physician, and 2 nocturnists
  • Responsible for only one hospital with 349 acute care beds, admitting adult medical and surgical patients aged 16 and older, excluding obstetrical cases
  • Access to over 340 specialists across 40 different fields, including Neurosurgery, Cardiology, General Surgery, and more
  • Hospital-wide HIPAA-compliant texting system for seamless communication with colleagues and specialists
  • Optional procedures with privileging; no ICU coverage required as intensivists are available 24/7 for consultation
