We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to those recovering from cardiac surgery, valve repair, and other cardiac-related procedures.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as needed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 60 days of employment start date
