Meat Cutter Job Description

At Greer's Markets, we're seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products reach our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, handle, and store meat products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Cut, trim, and present fresh meats to meet customer expectations.
  • Understand and implement our ground beef program, including grinding and holding procedures.
  • Fill and rotate all meat cases to maintain an attractive and well-stocked display.
  • Verify the quality and grade of all products to ensure they meet our standards.
  • Accurately sign products to ensure proper inventory management.
