Responsibilities- Providing post-acute care as a Practical Nursing Specialist
- Monitoring residents' physical and mental health and recording vital signs
- Conducting resident intakes and documenting health concerns and medical histories
- Reviewing residents' medical records and charts
- Administering and verifying medications accurately
- Maintaining adequate levels of medical supplies
- Contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Assisting with IV setups, vaccinations, and phlebotomy procedures
- Adhering to care plans for residents
- Supporting medical staff with orientation and training
- Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- At least 6 months of experience in a nursing or related role
