Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Kennestone Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
  • Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve patient goals.
  • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support research and evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
