Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients safely and efficiently via wheelchair or stretcher
  • Provide dispatch services and maintain accurate documentation of services
  • Support material supply services for various departments as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred

Transporter II Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant licensure, Current Georgia licensure as a Certified Nurse Aide, EMT-B Certificate, Pharmacy Tech Cert, or completion of Nursing Fundamentals in Lieu of CNA Licensure preferred
  • One or more of the above certifications or licensure is required
