Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apartment Service Manager to join our team at Dtnmgt. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our service team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain the physical condition of our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Service Team: Plan and direct the activities of the service team to ensure timely and efficient completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.
  • Manage Property Operations: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all building systems, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances.
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and execute daily, weekly, and monthly strategies for maintaining customer service, work order completion, capital replacements, preventative maintenance, and site inspections.
  • Ensure Compliance: Comply with all established site safety and hazardous communication standards, as well as local, state, and federal Fair Housing guidelines.
  • Communicate Effectively: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with residents, co-workers, supervisors, and vendors.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience as a maintenance repair technician, building contractor, and/or trade school certificate of completion.
  • Skills: Expertise in repairing apartment building systems and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances. HVAC knowledge and EPA certification required.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
