Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at CGH Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing CT examinations, including biopsy procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures using accepted principles and practices.
  • Assess examination quality, appropriateness, and results.
  • Educate patients on procedures and complete record entries into our computerized system.
  • Maintain image files and other records.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations appropriately.
  • Stay up-to-date with current scientific knowledge and competencies in CT Scan.
Requirements
  • ARRT registered in Radiology required.
  • Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license required.
  • ARRT registered in Computed Tomography within 6 months of hire.
  • Two years experience in Computed Tomography (CT) Scan preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of radiation protection, physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and pathology preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy to include word processing software application preferred.
