Epic Travel Staffing, a leading travel nursing agency, is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Zion, Illinois.

About the Job

This ICU RN position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing critically ill patients with diverse conditions. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and making informed decisions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for working in a challenging and rewarding environment. With a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience, the selected RN will be able to adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • IL License
  • 1 year ICU RN experience
  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH and OCN preferred
  • 2+ years experience preferred
  • Experience at/with Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, LTAC, Trauma level I & II preferred

In addition to clinical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent time management skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
