Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Early Care and Education courses, including Introduction to Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Growth and Development, and other related coursework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach day and evening classes in Early Care and Education at one or more campus locations
  • Develop and implement curriculum for Early Care and Education courses
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • 18 graduate semester hours in Early Childhood Education discipline
  • Experience teaching Early Care and Education courses
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
