Associate Coach for Women's Soccer

Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) competes at the NCAA Division II level, participating in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC). The university offers a variety of athletic programs for both women and men, including sports such as basketball, soccer, and track & field.
Position Summary:
The Associate Coach for Women's Soccer plays a vital role in the management and execution of an NCAA Division II women's soccer program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster spiritual growth, leadership skills, academic achievement, athletic performance, and community involvement among student-athletes.
- Assist in the planning and execution of training sessions, game preparations (including video analysis and statistics), travel arrangements, and competitions.
- Develop and implement an effective recruitment strategy to achieve competitive success and meet roster objectives.
- Help organize and manage youth camps and fundraising activities.
- Engage actively with the Athletic Department and the broader university community.
- Stay informed about relevant institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations, ensuring compliance.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in coaching women's soccer.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and solve problems independently.
- All staff members are expected to be Christians, preferably aligned with the Wesleyan tradition, and to support the university's mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Experience coaching women's soccer at the collegiate level.
- Experience in recruiting student-athletes.
- Knowledge of NCAA regulations and procedures.
Compensation:
Salary will be based on educational qualifications and experience.
