About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Saputo. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques and technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment records.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with production teams and maintenance staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends.
