As a Medical Support Specialist at CommonSpirit Health, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care by assisting providers and medical/surgical support staff in various activities. This role involves performing direct and non-direct patient care duties during procedures, including patient assessment, treatment, anesthesia intervention, physiological monitoring, and direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient preparation, setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of invasive monitoring lines.
  • Support the placement of sterile invasive physiological monitoring and treatment catheters.
  • Respond to patient-specific needs, including blood, medications, supplies, and equipment.
  • Perform patient identification procedures to ensure proper delivery of blood products and medications.

Our ideal candidate has clinical expertise and in-depth knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, EMT experience, or military Medic training. They should also possess basic computer skills, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
